Itinerary

-meet and greet your tour guide and driver at tangier medina port. – We start our day by driving through the “International Quarters” of Tangier on our way to the Cape Spartel Lighthouse, the meeting point of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. A panoramic tour ‘out of pars’, as we travel the world in one tour. – We then continue along the golden beaches to the legendary “Caves of Hercules” where an impressive calcite formation formed a view out to the Atlantic in the shape of Africa. A site that has to be seen to be believed. – stop at the grand souk and visit the vibrant soul of the old medina. -stop for lunch. – Return to the Kasbah and Medina. we visit the Dar el Makhzen Museum of Antiquities to connect with Tangier’s past before walking through the medina following in the footsteps of Barbara Hutton, Paul Bowles, Jack Kerouac, Malcolm Forbes to name just a few. -go to our hotel (Grand villa de france or Hotel el Menzah) -after refreshing in our hotel -We are going for a welcome dinner to try the delicacy of tangier seafood. -after dinner we return to our hotel -dinner is included

-After breakfast, we drive along the Atlantic coast to Asilah.
a small Portuguese town and Spanish protectorate during 1912 and 1956.
-After the visit of assilah, we continue our way to Rabat for 2 hours with a stop.
-lunch in the marina leaves rabat
-The visit of the Kasbah of Oudaya.
-Our next stop is the majestic Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the resting place of the father and
grandfather of the current king. Get your photo taken with the king’s royal guard and admire the
unfinished Hassan Tower, a minaret built in 1195 for a mosque that never was.
– we visit the courtyard of the King’s palace for a brief Kodak moment to admire the ornate royal
gates, the high guards and introduce you to the heritage of our monarchy.
– We continue on our way to Fes for 2.5 hours with a stop.

-Comfortable clothing is recommended as today we will be exploring the largest pedestrian zone
in the world, the magnificent UNESCO Medina of Fez.
-We start with a stop at the Royal Palace to admire the craftsmanship of its magnificent 7 doors
and walk through the 14th century Andalusian Quarter.
– Drive to the South Castle to enjoy a panoramic view of the old medina.
-The first handicraft of Fes that we witness today is the ceramic handicraft made of gray clay and rich in zinc. Recognized throughout the world, the place of this craft in Moroccan culture is fundamental to our identity. We visit the Ceramic Zone for an authentic pottery experience at a traditional apprenticeship school and artisan cooperative.
-Our next stop is Fes El Bali, the old medina. Life here has not changed for millennia. Fez is the only medieval city in the world that has not been affected by time.
-The locals still use mules and donkeys for transportation and the old traditions still thrive. This is Medina 101. The largest, oldest and most authentic medina in Morocco. Fez is Morocco.
-After lunch, we arrive at the famous Al-Karaouine Mosque, built in 857, the oldest university in the world. We then visit the Attarine Coranic School, an architectural gem, and introduce you to the well-equipped schools of Morocco’s golden age.
-Another craft that Fez is known for all over the world is the leather craft. Home to the oldest leather tannery in the world, the “Chouara” tannery has not changed since the 9th century.
-We visited a cooperative to take a look at the wells and take the opportunity to learn, admire and support local artisans.
-After a full day of exploration, we return to our hotel to freshen up.
-dinner in a Moroccan restaurant with belly dancers and show.

– After breakfast, departure to Chefchaouen, the blue city.
– Drive to the UNESCO Volubilis Roman Ruins, the most impressive and oldest in Morocco. At
Volubilis we stretch our legs on a walk through time and contemplate millennia of history around “The Arc de Triomphe”.
-Today we walk the blue streets and alleys of Chefchaouen. An experience that will always be a treasured memory, especially with comfortable shoes and a sharp camera!
-We visit the Kasbah of Chefchaouen
-Continue our walk through the cobbled streets towards the Ras el Ma neighborhood, passing through the Andaluces neighborhood and the innumerable spring water fountains and traditional neighborhood ovens, scattered throughout the medina.
-We take our time to explore the “Majestic Blue Pearl of Chefchaouen.

-Overnight at Riad Casa Hassan

– we continue on our way to Tangier for 3 hours with a stop .
– return to the port of tangier
